I thought I was one of the luckiest fellows alive when I met my wife and got married. And I was...It's just now that our son is here, I have to say that event has forever changed me! I am SOOOO proud of my wife when she delivered him! Before that date, she would tear up at a splinter, and actually sob when she got a shot for anything. In other words, no pain tolerance at all. But when the big day came, she breathed through every contraction and push without a scream. (well, one scream, but her Epideral didn't work!!) Her labor went fast, and when I say fast, I mean FAST!!! 6 hours total from the time we walked into the hospital until Collin came out to greet us!! Just walking from the labor room to the delivery room (A mere 25 feet or so) She dialated from five cent. to eight cent.!! good thing I started calling family members at 3:30am or they would have missed it!!
